Overview

The Hot Player App is a versatile and modern IPTV player available on almost all devices. Please note: the app does not contain any TV channels; you will always need your own M3U playlist or Xtream Codes API.

HotPlayer works on Samsung Smart TV, LG TV, Android, Android TV, Firestick, Windows, iOS/macOS, and Roku.

With this Premium SMARTTVPRO IPTV manual, you will learn step by step how to install the app and easily activate your IPTV subscription.

Installation per device

Samsung Smart TV: 
  1. Open the Samsung App Store.
  2. Search for HotPlayer.
  3. Install the app and launch it.
  4. You will immediately see your MAC address on the screen.
LG Smart TV (WebOS):
  1. Open the LG Content Store.
  2. Search for HotPlayer App.
  3. Download and install.
  4. Start the app and note down your MAC address.
Android & Android TV:
  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Search for HotPlayer App and install it.
  3. Start the app and you will immediately see your MAC address / device code.

Fire TV & Fire Stick:
  1. Install the app via Downloader or the Amazon App Store (if available:

  2. Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options.
  3. Enable Apps from unknown sources.
  4. Download and install the Hot Player APK.
  5. Start the app and note down your MAC address.
Windows / PC: 
  1. Visit the official website or the Microsoft Store.
  2. Download en installeer de Hot Player App.
  3. Start the app and note down your apparaatcode / MAC-adres.

  3. Start the app and your device code will appear.

Link playlist to Hot Player App

1. Go to the official Hot Player upload/activation portal: hotplayer.app.

2. Enter your MAC address.

3. Add your M3U link or Xtream Codes API.

4. Confirm and activate.

5. Return to the app and click Refresh/Reload.

Important tips

  • Hot Player is only an IPTV player – no channels are included.
  • You need a valid IPTV subscription or M3U link.
  • Always write down your MAC address and device key.
  • If you encounter problems: restart the app or upload the playlist again.
